The day was very overcast with a high expected of only 50 but we still ventured out since this is pretty typical for Germany until next spring. After getting ready in the morning and Sara reading us her favorite book we met up with Jayden, Jayce and Deanna for a walk to the Pedestrian Only area in Weiden. There is a nice park there that we
sometimes take the kids to. We stoped by a large fountain on the way and enjoyed our McDonald's french fries since this was the only place that was open in most of Germany. Today is a German holiday so most businesses are closed. The kids loved playing at the park on the swings, slides and in the sand. It got very cold though so we decided to leave. Sara promptly fell asleep. On the way home (about a 20 min walk) it started sprinkling. Needless to say by the time we ran home Deanna and I were soaked. Becca thought it was great and got to hold the umbrella over the stroller as they rode. Becca and Sara then took a hot bath and got all warmed up again. It was a fun day.
