Ahmed visits from NC

As I mentioned in my previous blog our neighbor, Ahmed, from Wake Forest, NC was in Germany this week for work. We only lived in NC for about 10 months but in that time we had our sweet baby Sara and also made a lot of good friends. Sarah and Ahmed lived right next to us and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. We had no family close by and were new to the area but they made us feel as though we'd never left KC. Especially by hanging out a Nebraska Husker flag on the house. Yep, Sarah is from Nebraska. It was fate. :)
Ahmed works for Siemens (a big german company) and comes over once a year for conferences. We were so excited to hear that he would be able to spend a day visiting with us. Here are a few photos from our visit.
